Church history

A meeting of local residence in charlotte was organized by the
then Archdeacon of the south venerable Martyn Anagbogu,
which after series of meetings gave birth to the idea to form a
church in Charlotte. Mount Olives Anglican Church charlotte
was officially started on the year of our Lord June 25,2017.
The name of the church was announced by the then diocesan
bishop, the Rt,Revd.Amos Fagbamiye and the church first
official assigned Priest/Rector was Ven John Onuorah.

Registration

The church was registered on August 11,2017 by the
Diocesan Bishop –Rt.Revd.Amos Fagbamiye, the then
diocesan registrar- sir Emeka Nwnkwo, The Archdeceacon of
the south- Ven Martyn Anagbogu and The Rector Ven John
Onuorah. The old EIN was 82-2466200 but the church got a
new EIN 83-0846193 on November 11, 2018.

Affiliation

Mount Olives Anglican Church Charlotte is a missionary
parish under Church of Nigeria North American Misson
(CONNAM) which is a missionary offshoot from Church of
Nigeria Anglican Communion. CON is a full member of
GAFCON(Global Anglican Future Conference)
